Transactions by Protocol

Q115. Using the following App ID lists from Folks Finance, AlgoFi, Tinyman, and AlgoDex, lets look at what percent of transactions their app calls and associated transactions(transactions in the same tx_group_id) make up on the Algorand blockchain.

Let’s start by showing how many transactions occur on each protocol in relation to all Algorand transactions

When a wallet interacts with a protocol, it is actually making an application call and that’s why I will use the “application_call_transactions” table for our analysis

Half of transactions occured on Tinyamn and AlgoFI which , in fact, are the top 2 protocol by TVL (total value locked)

Now let’s plot for each protocol the two following metrics:

daily transaction count
cumulative transaction fee over time
