Exploring the Arbitrum Ecosystem

Arbitrum is an Ethereum layer-two (L2) scaling solution. It uses optimistic rollups to achieve its goal of improving speed, scalability and cost-efficiency on Ethereum. Arbitrum benefits from the security and compatibility of Ethereum. Another benefit is the higher throughput and lower fees compared to Ethereum. That is made possible thanks to moving most of the computation and storage load off-chain.

    INTRODUCTION
    METHODOLOGY

The dashboard aims to get active users vs transaction volume , TVL and the top 10 projects on Arbitrum in the last 7 days by

    • ETH Volume
    • Unique Users
    • Tx Fee
    • Number of Transaction.
    • Swaps
    • Swappers

We will select our data from Flipside's arbitrum.core.fact_transactions and arbitrum.core.dim_contracts. The only reason we had to join arbitrum.core.dim_contracts was to get project names because that's not available in arbitrum.core.fact_transactions table.

    UNIQUE USERS

The Unique Users contribute to the network effect of each projects on the Arbitrum Blockchain. The more unique users a project has the more the value or utility of the project.

So from our query, we can see that REKT has the highest unique users in the last 7 days followed by AIDOGE.

    TX_FEES

Transaction fees are an indispensable part of the blockchain world. Every operation with blockchains requires paying native tokens as fees that might go back to the ecosystem, creating a compounding growth loop.

    • By ETH Volume on Arbitrum , Uniswap V3 has seen the most volume with 112k ETH, Wrapped Ether and Lodestar Ether complete the second and third projects with 11.1k and 1.4k ETH respectively.

    • When it comes to top projects by unique users its obvious that REKT is dominant with over 182k unique users, USDC comes second with 162k and AISHIB with 142 unique users.

    • For top projects by number of transactions, USDC leads with over 337k transaction volume followed by USDT and REKT with 237k and 217k respectively.

    • The top most swapped asset with the highest number of swaps and swappers on Arbitrum are HOP-ETH, HOP-USDC, and the HOP-USDT
