Comparison of Bonded Vs Unbonded LUNA

    This dashboard gives us a comparison of quantity between Bonded and Unbonded LUNA tokens based on the daily transactions with in past 6 months and provides the bLUNA-LUNA Ratio in terms of balance quantity on daily basis.

    Here is the graph which shows the statistics of bonded LUNA deposits in the recent 6 months.

    LUNA is a native Staking token on Terra Protocol, which serves as the foundational asset for the entire Terra network and Ecosystem.

    A Bonded LUNA (bLUNA) can also be unbonded, but this unbonding procedure may take almost 21 days, during which the rewards can't be accrued or freely traded indicating its locked period. Post its completion, this LUNA will return to the Unbonded State and can be traded without any restrictions.

    Bonded LUNA (bLUNA) is considered as staked, where in it generates rewards for the delegator and Validator to whom it is bonded with and this cannot be further traded saying that its locked in ecosystem and can't be freely traded until it gets fully unbonded.

    Whereas, Unbonded LUNA is the regular Token which can be freely transacted without imposing any rules or restrictions.
