Introduction

I'll be finding the total transactions made every minute for Flow and compare it to two other chains. The chains will be Sushiswap and Polygon and I'll be finding both the total transactions and failed or successful transactions every minute for all 3 chains.

There's on average 400-500 swaps in a minute through May, with common spikes mostly after May 26. This data shows the high amount of failed transactions after May 26 which was noted as having a spike in transactions in the previous chart. This says how the spike in transactions were mostly failed transactions while the successful transactions reduced.

For POlygon there's 2000-3000 average transactions a minute which is really high. Unlike Flow there isn't high spikes in transactions or a high amount of failed transactions anywhere. It's consistent in successful and failed transactions.

Sushiswap is weird where there's not many transactions a minute. Anywhere between 10 and 20 a minute is normal and there's very little failed transactions. Only 340 different minutes had 1 or more failed transaction. This totaled to 436 failed transactions out of 287000 successful ones.

Conclusion

There's a really high amount of failed transactions on Flow that isn't seen in Polygon or Sushiswap. These fluctuations have really high rates of failed transactions that completely outpace the successful transactions. Because the total successful transactions go down the cause of these spikes in transactions and failed ones is probably a small failure or outage on Flow's side as there's less people trying to get their transactions through since they fail and don't try until it succeeds.

With Polygon and Sushiswap they both have little fails to success transactions and don't have big spikes in transactions. Theyr're consistent in their total, failed, and successful swaps. Polygon has much more swaps every minute than Flow does, and Sushiswap has much less swaps every minute than both chains. It's actually really low compared to them but I don't think this means it's slow compared to Flow.
