Conclusions

• USD value of OSMO is dominant over ATOM but both has similar trends.
• Swap count/volume/user involving both coins has been bearish towards 2023 with similar trends.
• Both tokens has most swap volume to/form each other.
• Unlike all other observed metrics transfer volume of OSMO has been bullish towards 2023.
• OSMO has most volume of transfer type of OSMOIS but in the second place we see that inflow volume is dominant unlike ATOM which outflow volume is dominant.
• Top OSMO holders hold 4 times more in $OSMO volume than ATOM holders’ held $ATOM.
• Top 10 Atom holders hold double unique other tokens than top 10 OSMO holders.
• So from information and charts given in this dashboard we can conclude that similarities between both coins are much higher than their differences, only parameter that shows major differences is transfer in which OSMO has bullish trend and with dominance of inflow transfers unlike ATOM.

Introduction

• The OSMO token is a governance token that allows staked token holders to decide the future of the protocol, including every implementation detail. OSMO will initially be used for the following (although governance is free to add or remove these functions): Voting on protocol upgrades.
• Cosmos (ATOM) is a cryptocurrency that powers an ecosystem of blockchains designed to scale and interoperate with each other. The team aims to "create an Internet of Blockchains, a network of blockchains able to communicate with each other in a decentralized way."

Methodology

This dashboard includes review of OSMO and ATOM tokens in Osmosis network, their differences and similarities - from 2022 until now, and to do so i have used several tables from osmosis.core which are as follows:

By using tables above I was able to extract various metrics of each parameters of ==Price==, ==Swaps== and ==Transfers== to examine different aspects of these parameters of SOMO and ATOM to find out their similarities and differences in their patterns.
