    Crypto-Cosmology, Part 1: Wormhole

    Wormhole is another long awaited feature for LUNAtics. It is basically a bridge but not a two-way direct connecting blockchain Instead it has 5 different blockchains (solana, ethereum, Terra, BSC and Polygon) where users can move their assets freely among these chains. In this dashboard, we will take a look at some metrics of bridging activities of Terra bridges vs Wormhole.

    From my query, these are the tokens that has went through Wormhole V2.

    We're seeing most transactions from Terra that went through Wormhole to Solana. This is expected as Wormhole is initially developed to accommodate and bring more assets to Solana Ecosystem.

    On Wormhole to BSC, we saw a lot of TTT tokens which is Termite Test Tokens(?). I did not find any additional infos on this but I assume this is the test tokens to test bridging experience through Wormhole. Second, we saw whORION, BTL which is BitLocus Token(?), whUST, whMIR,whBUSD, whUSDC and ORION. There are various stablecoins and whUST which is wormhole-wrapped UST, tops the list. This is good to see.

    Now let's compare the top assets that went through Terra Bridge from BSC vs assets that went through wormhole from Terra to BSC for the past 30 days. Asset with highest volume on Terra Bridge to BSC is UST. This is good to see as a Lunatic, because soon, $UST will dominate all of crypto chains. Over 75M $UST has been bridged in 30 days. How's that for stripper dollar huh ? Must be so many strip club over there in BSC amirite? Other than UST, we also seeing $MIR, $aUST, $LUNA, $ORION and various other mAssets bridged over to BSC.

    In conclusion, Wormhole v2 has just been released and the usage is getting traction. Soon we will definitely see much more volume bridged across these chains.
