    Delegator APY

    Us, retail users/investor of LUNA are also able to participate in Terra blockchain by delegating/staking our LUNA to validators. And by doing so, we are able to earn some interest from validating transactions. This interest are calculated by how frequent the validators validate transaction. So, in this dashboard, we will take a look at the average APY earned by delegating LUNA to validators.

    Methodology

    1. Get the maximum total amount staked by all users in each month from daily_balances table.

    2. Get monthly reward withdrew by validators to delegators.

    The average APY for delegators has decreased gradually since March until July. But last month, we are seeing an increase from 0.8% in July to 2.5% in August. This may be because of so many new protocol which are very bullish to Terra ecosystem so there are many new users which means increase in transactions volume.
