    Governance Participation

    Terra Ecosystem is a decentralized ecosystem hence why anyone can propose and vote the direction of Terra. There are two main activities involving governance, which are PROPOSE and VOTE. Propose is where user submit proposal or changes that they want to implement and vote and when user vote reach certain quorum to pass the proposal. In this dashboard, we will take a look at governance participation and see whether these guys are whale or not.

    There are 97 different address that has submitted for proposal and out of these 97, only 9 addresses has submitted proposal more than once. So, we want to see among these 97 addresses, who are the whales. First let's define what whales are. For this dashboard, whales are those who held >10,000 LUNA to the balance sheet and less than 10,000 LUNA we will consider them as retail users. We can see that Whale has submitted 20 proposals where Retails has submitted almost 100 proposals thus far.

    Other than submitting proposal, we can also actively take part in governance by voting to pass the proposal proposed by other big brain. Thus far, there are 8552 addresses that has voted at least one. The highest voter is a whale who has voted for 57 times already.

    From proposal submission, it is good to see that most of the submission come from retail users and not institution or the whale. This shows that anyone is able to carve the path where Terra is heading.

    We can see that most of the votes has come from retail users (>80%) and whales has issued around ~3000 votes while retail responsible for over 22k votes. From this number, we can see that governance participation mostly come from retail users who has less than 10k LUNA to their wallet and this is a good thing. The future of decentralization is very bright for Terra ecosystem.
