    Network Load

    Some network will eventually need to be able to scale and support a lot of transaction at one time so network load is a very important aspect to consider when doing your due diligence. The blockchain trilemma is very much real as posited by our lord Vitalik Buterin. A blockchain cannot have all these three thing Decentralization, Secure and Scalability. However scalability is very much needed if the blockchain want to see success in future. In this dashboard, we will take a look at network load of THORChain.

    First let's take a look at the highest transaction performed in one single minute which is 75 transactions on 22nd October and followed by 69, 65 and 63. This is very low actually even when compared to Ethereum which has 20 TPS (transaction per second) but I believe this number did not utilize THORChain full capability.

    Graph below shows the daily max transaction recorded in one minute. We can see that after the May Hack, it seems that max transaction in minute increases compared to before the hack.

    In conclusion, THORChain has yet to become mainstream but it will be in the future. So, thus now, THORChain has yet to experience the traffic but I believe THORChain will be able to perform well.
