First, let’s take a look at the number of daily transactions count and number of unique address making transaction on Polygon network. From graph below, we can see that the daily transactions number has averaged at around 2.55M transaction, 215.6K unique addresses per day for this month of July so far. \n

Out of those unique address, let’s see how many of them are new wallets as in newly registered and made first transaction on Polygon. This was done by filtering to nonce = 1. Graphs below shows the number of NEW unique address and existing wallets. Since July 1st, the percentage of new addresses has decreased from 14% to 6.7% on July 12th.

Conclusion

• The number of new addresses has decreased since 1st July
• The transaction count has stayed constant since beginning of July
• Swap activities shows no significant trend.

These concludes that the growth on Polygon L1 has been plateaued recently however, with new updates we could see more users using Polygon again.

SWAP ACTIVITIES ON SUSHI

Sushiswap is one the main DEX on Polygon. Swapping activities also shows the ‘active-ness’ of the L1 blockchain. Let’s take a look at swap activities since July 1st. There was some error with Flipside DB showing 0 volume for swap on July 2nd and 3rd but we can see that the volume has been erratic and the main swap involves the USDC-WETH pair.
