StETH-ETH Pool

stETH is the token you received when you staked your $ETH on Lido. By doing this, your staked $ETH will become liquid and you can still used it for other participation. $stETH is your staked ETH includes the interests that accrued daily. On Curve Finance, you can provide liquidity using your $stETH on stETH-ETH pool. First we have to identify the contract address for stETH-ETH pool on Curve Finance. Providing two same tokens into liquidity is a smart way to beat the impermanent loss because both pairs are of the same value.

stETH is the staked ETH in liquid form on Ethereum blockchain and you have to use this site (https://anchor.lido.fi/) to bridge your stETH and mint bETH on Anchor. We can see that from 10th September onwards, there are some significant withdrawal of stETH from stETH-ETH pool. Now, let's see the minting of bETH on Anchor to see if the removed stETH from stETH-ETH pool went to Anchor or not.

The contract address for stETH-ETH pool on Curve Finance is identified to be 0xDC24316b9AE028F1497c275EB9192a3Ea0f67022. Let's first take a look at volume of add liquidity function of stETH and ETH tokens into the pools. We can see that daily volume of stETH has reduced from August 23rd to very minimum nowadays.

We can see that highest stETH being removed from pool was on 6th and 7th September and 4 days later we also saw highest volume of ETH removed from the stETH-ETH pool.

On September 9th, there was sudden spike inflow of bETH minted in Anchor Protocol, which is couple days after the highest outflow from stETH-ETH liquidity pool. What happens here ? The events that I found are this thread by Anchor_Protocol on Twitter about how Anchor has successfully migrated to Bombay-10, which is testnet compatible with Columbus-5. On the same 9th September we can see the highest volume of bETH being locked as collateral on Anchor Protocol. On 10th September, we also see that Anchor Protocol hit another milestone which is passing 4B USD in Total Value Locked.
