Volume of THORChain Bifrost Activity by Asset

THORChain Bifrost is basically a birdge but a bit more. $RUNE are available on three different blockchain, on THORChain as native, on Ethereum as ERC20 and on Binance Chain as BEP2 token. What BiFrost do is users can bridge $RUNE token from either Ethereum or Binance Chain and that token will be burned and user will be issued native $RUNE on THORChain. In this dashboard, we will take a look at volume on Bifrost bridge for the past 60 days.

For the past 60 days, most of Bifrost activity involves $RUNE from BEP2 except for one day on 23rd October where Ethereum chain got online again and more people start getting into it again. The highest volume happened on 21st October with more than 2M $RUNE token burned. Bridging BEP2 $RUNE token is dirt cheap too compared to ERC20 on Ethereum.

The same pattern was seen on volume when denominated in USD.
