Top TOKE Holders
Q1. Identify the top holders of the TOKE token in January 2022, have they kept their position today?
Introduction
Tokemak is a decentralized market maker that maximizes the utility of tokens through their aggregation and transformation into liquidity. This is achieved through Token Reactors and Pair Reactors where liquidity providers (LPs) can deposit tokens to be implemented as liquidity in DEXs. Through this mechanism, all token holders can effortlessly earn yield and become liquidity providers in Tokemak with one-sided exposure and no risk of loss.
In addition to the improved economic bandwidth of Web3 through increased liquidity, Tokemak also allows projects to overcome the inflationary dependency that is intrinsic to Pool 2 liquidity costs (i.e., a pool with a native token and its peer). Instead of attracting Total Locked-in Value (TVL) in "liquidity loans" that terminate when liquidity mining rewards diminish or disappear, protocols can acquire the Tokemak token ($TOKE) to direct liquidity to their pools with unilateral exposure and no Impermanent Loss (IL) risk.
Methods
In this analysis we will focus on Top 10 TOKE holders. More specifically, we will analyze the following data:
- Top TOKE holders January
- Current top TOKE holders
- Top 10 TOKE holders over time
- Evolution of top 10 TOKe holders over time
As we can see in the graphs, there are two wallets that stand out from the top 10 that are holding TOKE. Of this top 10, the first wallet represents 67% of the total, while the second wallet represents 27.9% of the total. The other 8 wallets represent the remaining 5%. We can see that from January to today the percentages have changed a little. The two main TOKE wallets are up 1% for the first one and 0.6% for the second one.
The other eight wallets have all partially changed. In second place we see a wallet that in January represented 4.1%, while today it has dropped considerably, representing 1.4%.
In the first graph we have analyzed the evolution of the top 10 holders from January until today. We can see that since January the capital of almost every wallet has decreased, since the first wallet of the top 10, in January had a capital of 64M and today has an amount of 24M. On the other hand, in the second wallet of the top 10, we can clearly see how its capital has increased, since in January it had a capital of 26M and today it has a capital of 64M. In the second graph we can see the same results with movement. We can see the evolution of the top 10 TOKE holders from January until today.
