    Introduction

Forefront is a community DAO focused on creating and curating resources for the social token community. This means that Forefront is mainly focused on providing information about social tokens
Its native token is $FF which is mainly used to incentivize community members to write content for the DAO. Users are also incentivized to hold FF to unlock extra features. For example, users that hold at least 100 $FF tokens will gain access to a signals page. Users that hold at least 1000 $FF tokens gain access to Forefront’s Governance Channels and voting (also called curator roles) (source). In this dashboard, we will analyse the number of users that hold at least 1000 $FF tokens over time and analyse how Forefront could incentivize the growth of the number of curator roles.

    Methodology

To create a chart that visualizes the number of curator roles over time, the ethereum.erc20_balances table was used in combination with the contract address of the $FF token: 0x7e9d8f07a64e363e97a648904a89fb4cd5fb94cd. Then, for each day, we count the number of addresses that hold more than 1000 $FF tokens.

    Results

As can be seen, the number of curator roles in Forefront has been in a constant uptrend since the launch of the project. Interestingly, even during times of massive volatility such as in May and November 2021, the number of curator roles was either constant or was growing. This means that even in times of large volatility, users are not selling their tokens. This indicates trust in the project.

    How to incentivize further growth

Even though the number of curators is looking quite strong already, there are of course ways to incentivize further growth. Some examples:

    • Add token staking for curators
    • More payout when contributing articles
    • Special events only for curators

    Key Findings

    • There are 244 users in curator roles (users that hold at least 1000 $FF tokens)
    • The number of curator roles has been in a constant uptrend
    • Other ways to incentivize further growth of curator roles could be the ability to stake their $FF tokens, more payout when contributing articles and special event
