Introduction

This dashboard aims to analyse the TVL of the major pools on Thorswap. We'll look at the current top 10 largest pools by TVL, and see how their TVL has changed since 2022. Finally, we'll also look at the TVL of the LUNA and UST pools in particular.

Methodology

The TVL data was retrieved using the thorchain.pool_block_balances table. With this table, we can calculate the average daily TVL by adding the USD value of the RUNE side of the pool and the USD value of the asset side of the pool and taking the daily average from that.

Results

First, we'll look at the current top 10 pools by TVL. We can see that the BTC pool is the largest by TVL at around $100M. We can also see that the LUNA is already the fourth largest pool despite only launching less than three weeks ago.

Next, we'll look at the TVL of these pools since 2022. We can clearly see that since the launch of UST and LUNA, the TVL across all pools has increased significantly.

Finally, we'll look at the TVL of the LUNA and UST pools in more detail. We can see that in the first week the TVL quickly grew to a high of $54M for LUNA and $39M for UST.

Key findings

• The BTC pool is currently the largest pool by TVL at around $100M
• The LUNA pool is the 4th largest pool by TVL despite launching less than three weeks ago
• The TVL across Thorchain has increased significantly since the launch of UST and LUNA on March 25th
