xMETRIC

xMETRIC tokens are a beta version of MetricsDAO’s future $METRIC token. It is just for testing purposes, and cannot be transferred and does not provide its holder with any governance rights whatsoever (other than bragging rights about early participation in protocol testing). Think of it as monopoly money that allows us to test parts of our protocol design – with your help.

As of September 2022, xMETRIC is distributed to active members of the MetricsDAO network. Accounts with 2000+ xMETRIC have access to Peer Review workflow and Analytics insights reserved for experts.

Badges

Badges are issued to MetricsDAO team members to provide access to various tools and spaces.

As of September 2022, MetricsDAO has 3 badges:

• Contributor
• Curator
• Governor

MetricsDAO has 2 Snapshot spaces:

• temp.metricsdao.eth
• vote.metricsdao.eth

Temp proposals can be made and voted on by holders of the Contributor badge.

Vote proposals can be made and voted on by holders of the Governor badge.

Differences between these spaces can be understood with the constitution.
