In the general data display, it can be seen that the total number of Ethereum transactions is equal to 1-B And the volume of Ethereum transactions is much higher than OptimismIt can also be seen that it is 93 m And it can be seen that all the charts above have Ethereum over Terry

The number and also the percentage of undone transactions can be seen in Ethereum and Optimism, where due to the longer launch time of Ethereum, the percentage of failed transactions is less than Optimism.

In the data above, it can be seen that the average number of dollar volume transactions and Ethereum volume is based on users It can be seen that the amount of volume per user in Ethereum is $150, and the average in Ethereum is 0.06 Eth. But the average number of transactions is more based on Optimism users In the charts above, you can see the classification of data based on users

What Is Ethereum? At its core, Ethereum is a decentralized global software platform powered by blockchain technology. It is most commonly known for its native cryptocurrency, ether (ETH).

Ethereum can be used by anyone to create any secured digital technology. It has a token designed to pay for work done supporting the blockchain, but participants can also use it to pay for tangible goods and services if accepted.

Ethereum is designed to be scalable, programmable, secure, and decentralized. It is the blockchain of choice for developers and enterprises creating technology based upon it to change how many industries operate and how we go about our daily lives.

What Is Optimism? The breakthrough in blockchain technology stems from its peer-to-peer model. By decentralizing governance and maintenance, blockchain design has enabled permissionless access without central server control. On the other hand, all nodes on the network must sync up with all other nodes to execute every single transaction.

This is time-consuming and expensive, making it difficult for blockchains to reach the mass market. Ethereum’s blockchain tackles this scalability problem with Layer 2 networks. One of them is Optimism.

    What is SushiSwap?

SushiSwap was launched in September 2020 by two anonymous developers called Chef Nomi and 0xMaki. It is one of the most popular Decentralized Applications (DApp) on the Ethereum blockchain. SushiSwap adopts the automated market-making (AMM) model for its decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol. Simply put, there is no order book on SushiSwap. Instead, the buying and selling of crypto are facilitated by smart contracts and the price is determined by an algorithm. SushiSwap began as a fork of Uniswap. It used the code of Uniswap to build its foundation while also introducing some key differences – most notably, rewards are distributed in SUSHI tokens. Liquidity providers on SushiSwap are rewarded with the protocol’s native token SUSHI, which is also a governance token. Unlike Uniswap (UNI), SUSHI holders can continue to earn rewards even after they stop providing liquidity.

Things that can be seen in this dashboard How is user behavior different in Optimism compared to L1? We made a comparison between exchanges and transactions on the ETH mainnet vs. Optimism, and displayed things like daily exchange volume, daily active users, and average volume traded (we used a Sushiswap for our comparison). L2 is far cheaper, but by how much? What is the average swap fee on Optimism compared to ETH Mainnet? Optimism.core.fact_transactions, ethereum.core.fact_transactions, optimism.sushi.ez_swaps, ethereum.sushi.ez_swaps and ethereum.core.fact_hourly_token_prices tables are used to display this data.

    πŸ“Š Analyze

As can be seen in the chart, the average number of transactions and daily active users, as well as the fees paid, are much higher in Ethereum than in Optimism. And you can see these numbers

    πŸ“Š Analyze

In the weekly graphs of transactions, it can be seen that in the general data, the amount of Ethereum is much higher than Optimism. In the number of active users on a weekly basis, it can be seen that 2.7 m are active on July 25, 2022, and for Optimism, the number is 181 k on May 30. The highest Hajj for Ethereum is on August 31st, and the highest transaction for Ethereum is on May 3rd

In the data display, it can be seen that Ethereum has far more statistics

in the number of swaps, the volume of swaps,

    and the number of swappers.

It can also be seen that Ethereum has the largest number of tokens, pools and pairs

In the statistics of volume and average data based on dollar and ethereum, it can be seen that ethereum is statistically far more than Optimism.

The top 10 Swappers based on the number of Swap and Swap volume are shown in the charts above, separated by Ethereum and Optimism

    πŸ“Š Analyze

In the graph on the left, you can see that the average number of data per day is that the average number of Swap Volume is 223 m, the number of Swap is 11 k and the number of Swapper is 4.7 k in Ethereum, and this number is much less in Optimism

    πŸ“Š Analyze

In the graphs based on the weekly basis, it can be seen that the Ethereum market is much larger than Optimism, and the overall volume of this data can be seen in the weekly cumulative graph.

In the diagram on the left, you can see the superiority of Ethereum in average data based on Swapper

The top 10 Pools based on the number of Swap and Swap volume are shown in the charts above, separated by Ethereum and Optimism

    Conclusion

    Transactions

The average and median fees generated by Optimism transactions are much lower than Ethereum, but as it turned out, the high number of Ethereum transaction fees is mainly due to the previous years. Over the last year (especially after the EIP1559 upgrade as well as the (slight) integration upgrade) transaction fees on Ethereum have dropped significantly, but still not as low as Optimism.

In the number of transactions and active users, there is an increasing trend in Optimism activity over time, while there is an almost constant trend line for Ethereum (especially in recent months). .

A typical user on Optimism is much more active than a typical user on Ethereum to the point where he has done more than 3 times more transactions than an Ethereum user.

Most users have completed 2-10 transactions on both chains

There is a big difference between Ethereum Top Users vs Optimism.

    Change sushi

It is clear that Ethereum is much more active on Sushiswap than Optimism and its average transactions are much higher than Optimims. Optimism has very little activity in Sushiswap to the extent that its activity and statistics are much lower than other L2s
