THORSwap User Metrics
[THOR Bounty 5] Show the number of swaps as well as the unique number of swappers in total and by pool, today and daily.
Following a look at the top volume by pool, let's look at swap / transaction count for the top pools.
BNB.BUSD takes the top spot again, but what stands out is that the BTC THOR pool only just makes the leaderboard, coming in at 10 in transaction volume while it is second in dollar volume.
Zooming in on the top pools by transaction volume, specifically on unique user activity, we see another interesting BTC move. It's back near the top at no. 3 in unique users over the past 42h!
More interesting, however, is the insane ratio of transactions vs unique users for these top BNB pools.
So, it must be assumed that there are some protocol addresses boosting swap volume. Looking at the top addresses:
Taking another angle at the unique user metrics, we get some very different figures.
Unique users per pool is just a fraction when we look at the destination side of the swap. This tells us that the structure of the pool is incredibly automated (which is what we would expect to see on a DEX like this).
Basically, looking at the origin address tells us that there are a significant number of relay addresses that THORChain relies on. The below figures represent unique users interacting with the THOR pools actually performing swaps.
