There are a total of 1.27 million Metamask users based on whether or not that address has swapped at least once via the native Metamask swap protocol.
Since 2022, the graphs indicate the overall activity type of each address. Swapping has the most number of users (525k), followed by Signing and Transferring, while Staking/Unstaking has the lowest (132k).
The graphs show the weekly activity count of Metamask users. On a daily basis, Swapping and Signing have the largest combined address interactions of roughly 40%.
The graphs show the protocol type that interacted with Metamask users. dApp has the most addresses interacted with (25%), followed by Layer2, Dex, NFT, Defi, and Cex has the least at 4.6 percent.
Limitation: In this study, we will identify Metamask users based on whether or not that address has ever swapped at least once using the native Metamask swap protocol.
