What is Osmosis?

Osmosis is an advanced Automated Marketer Protocol (AMM) that allows developers to build custom AMMs with robust liquidity pools.

Osmosis is built using the Cosmos SDK and uses the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) feature to enable cross-chain transactions.

The Cosmos ecosystem follows the "Blockchain as Decentralized Program" architecture, This means that Osmosis is a blockchain connected to Cosmos Hub, which is also a decentralized exchange.

The Osmosis Token (OSMO) is used for voting, staking, and liquidity across pools.

In this dashboard we want to review the following:

• Osmosis Users Activity.
• Osmosis Swap Activity.
• Osmosis Liquidity Providers.
• Osmosis Transfers.

We review monthly, weekly, and daily charts for each of the above items.

Above we see:

• Daily active Osmosis users.

• Monthly active Osmosis users.

• Weekly active Osmosis users.

We can see that at first the number of active users is low and then they gradually increase in ==March== we have the highest number of active users ==(260,504k)== and then the number has been decreasing.

Above we see:

• Daily Active Swappers on Osmosis.

• Monthly Active Swappers on Osmosis.

• Weekly Active Swappers on Osmosis.

  
  We can see that the number of active swappers was low at first and gradually increased, and in ==March==, the highest number reached the maximum ==(171,208k).

Above we see:

LP means ==Liquidity Provider== and is sometimes used for Liquidity Pools.

• Daily Active Osmosis Liquidity Providers.
• Monthly Active Osmosis Liquidity Providers.
• Weekly Active Osmosis Liquidity Providers.

We see the highest number of active Osmosis liquidity providers in March (89,198k).

On the daily chart, we see a spike on ==May 17th (11.057k).

Above we see:

• Daily Active Osmosis Transfers.
• Monthly Active Osmosis Transfers.
• Weekly Active Osmosis Transfers.

We see the highest number of active osmosis transfers in ==March (411,258k).== On the daily chart, we see a valley on ==June 8th.

In this dashboard, we first explained the Osmosis network==, and then we checked the following items.

• Osmosis Users Activity.

  Based on our observations, the activity of Osmosis users was low in the beginning and then it increased.

• Osmosis Swap Activity.

  Since July 2021 there has been a gradual increase in the Active Osmosis swappers.

• Osmosis Liquidity Providers.

• Osmosis Transfers.

  
  We saw the most activity for all of the above in March.
