Circulating Matic Vs. Stake Matic

It seems Staking Matic had a huge part in daily transactions on the Ethereum chain. The ratio of Stake amount increased over time, especially in the last 30 days. The highest ratio was 62% on August 30.

Conclusion

Staking Matic is very popular these days. Matic did a good job with Staking. According to the Official Polygon Website, More than 2.6B Matic is staked. The number of users didn’t change too much but the amount of stake increased significantly.
I think this Staking helped the Matic token to increase its price during the bear market.
Matic token experienced more than 40% pump in the last 30 months.

First, I visited the Official Matic staking website.

I found all Matic Validators on the Ethereum chain. Then I looked up some validator addresses to find how Staking and Unstaking work.
Matic Staking POS has a contract address which is 0x5e3ef299fddf15eaa0432e6e66473ace8c13d908.
I used the Ethereum Fact Log table and Put Matic staking address as to and from the address which declares Stake and Unstake Activities.
After All, I calculated all Mentioned Parameters.
All Data is from 2022-07-01.

In the last 3 months, There were more Unstakers and Unstake activities in comparison to stakes.
It is true that the number of unstakers was higher than Stakers but The total staked Matic amount had a huge difference from Unstake.
The Current all-time stake amount is nearly 2.6B Matic.
Since July 2022, 737M Matic staked and 289M Matic unstaked.
The highest stake amount was 190M Matic on August 30.
The highest Stake Ratio was 62% in comparison to Circulating $Matic on August 30. On that day, The circulating $Matic was 300M Matic and Staking amount was 190M Matic.

Full Analysis:

The Polygon website ( ) shows nearly 2.6B Matic staked over time. There are more than 80 Validators for Staking Matic on the Ethereum chain.

Since July 2022, The highest number of stakers and unstakers was from July 14th until July 31st.
Over time, Both Stakers and Unstakers decreased in comparison to July.
The share of Unstakers was 51% and Stakers 49%.

Number of Stakes and Unstakes

The daily share of stakes and unstakes show there were more unstakes in comparison to stakes in the last 3 months.
The Daily share of Unstakes was 55-60% and stakes were below 50%.
Since July 2022, The total stakes were 4409 and The total unstakes were 6849.

Stake and Unstake Amount

The total staked amount and unstake were different from users and transactions. The total daily amount of stakes were huge.
Almost every day, the total stake amount was above 1M Matic.
The highest amount of stake was 190M on August 30.
The highest amount of Unstake was 90M on July 5.
The total stake amount was 737M and Unstake was 289M.
