What is Optimism?

Optimism is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum that can support all of Ethereum's Dapps. Instead of running all computation and data on the Ethereum network, Optimism puts all transaction data on-chain and runs computation off-chain, increasing Ethereum's transactions per second and decreasing transaction fees.

We are looking to see that activity on and top collection on the NFT market Quixotic. We will visualize the following metrics:

• Daily / total NFT sales and sales volume
• Top NFT collections
• Top NFT purchesers

Observations

• The top NFTs sold on Quixotic are genrally inexpenive with most of the NFTs being sold for under 0.1 ETH
• The top NFT collects on Quixotic have much more sales volume than the other NFTs on the Platform.
• Most of the NFTs on Quixotic sales volume and Number are on down trend

Observations

• The number of sales on Quixotic have been on the decline from June 19th to July 31th. In this time period the number of sales dropped from 200 per day to about 100.
• Each day the total sales volume of Quixotic fluctuates between 0.4 and 23 ETH.
• The top 2 Collections on the platform make over 70% of the sales of top collections on Quixotic.

Conclusion

Quixotic has a sales volume between 0.4 and 23 ETH each day with between 100 and 200 in sales. The collections Optipunk and apetimism make up most of the sales volume on Quixotic. Most of the NFTs on Quixotic are selling for a very low amount of ETH compared to collections on oppensea.
