What are Stablecoins ?

Stablecoins are cryptocurrencies where the price is designed to be pegged to a cryptocurrency, fiat money, or to exchange-traded commodities.

Methodology

We are looking to see swappers of BUSD token of Thorchain differ from USDC swappers on Thorchain. We will collect the following metrics:

• Daily/Average swap size by stablecoin

• Average number/volume of swpa by swapper.

Conclusion

The users that are swappin USDC are swapping 3x as often as BUSD swappers and their swaps are 300% the size to the BUSD users swaps. In terms of volume and number of users there are many more users swapping with BUSD on Thorchain and in total there users are swapping much more value of BUSD than USDC users.
