    Osmosis is a decentralized peer-to-peer blockchain that people can use to create liquidity and trade IBC enabled tokens. The Osmosis blockchain is made up of free, public, and open-source software.

    • We will look at the Osmosis transaction fees over time

    • We are looking to see what transactions cost the most fees and how many of these transactions are happening.

    Conclusion

    • Almost 90% of all transactions on Osmosis do not pay any gas fees to the network.

    • Users started paying for gas on Osmosis in early December of 2021.

    • On May 10th when there was a crisis on Terra the number of users paying large gas fees on Osmosis spiked over 4x more than normal.
