Bot Swappers
Define bot swappers. How does the behavior of bots differ from average swappers? For instance in terms of number of swaps, or in terms of distribution of swaps over a day. What percentage of swaps were executed by bots in the past 30 days? What pools and what pairs were most popular among bot swappers in the past 30 days.
Terra is a blockchain network built using Cosmos SDK specializing in stablecoin creation. Rather than use fiat or over-collateralized crypto as reserves, each Terra stablecoin is convertible into the network's native token, LUNA. LUNA allows holders to pay network fees, participate in governance, stake in the Tendermint Delegated Proof of Stake consensus mechanism, and peg stablecoins.

In this dashboard I am going to be comparing average swappers to bot swappers and seeing what different trends arise. For this dashboard I am defining bot swappers as users who have made over 500 swaps since the start of 2022, although this is possible to achieve by a normal user I believe it is highly unlikely to happen on a consistent basis.
If we look at the first graph we can see the amount of daily transactions made by bots and the amount of daily transactions made by average users. Although it appears as if the bot's don't make up that many of the total swaps compared to the average users it's because bot's only make up .2653 % of all swappers, yet as seen in the first graph they are still able to contribute largely to the total swaps. If we look at the trends of normal users vs bots in term of daily swaps we can see that they actually follow a somewhat similar pattern although there are few discrepancies the overall pattern is very similar. Although bot's don't make up the majority of transactions they do make up the majority of volume being traded. If we look at the second graph we can see that Bot's trade much more volume than average users and also seem to follow a different trend in terms of when they are trading the most volume. As stated bot's only make up .2653% of all users yet they make 21.65% of all swaps that take place.
Over the last 30 days bot's tend to swap primarily from LUNA to UST over 85% of all transactions done by bots are within the LUNA to UST swap pair. The rest of the pool make up a small portion of the remaining swaps. If we see look at the next graph we once again see that the bot's are primarily swapping from LUNA to UST on a daily basis, with other swap pairs only making up a fraction of the total swaps. at the beginning of the 30 day period the amount of swaps daily by bots increased greatly but as the month went on they went down sharply and remained at that low point up until the current date.
-
Bot's make up over 20% of all swaps although they only make up .2653% of all active swappers.
-
Bot's primarily swap LUNA to UST.
-
Bots and average users follow similar trends in terms of when they increase the amount of swaps they are making daily.
