Introduction:
In recent years, the journey of Flow has been nothing short of remarkable as it strides towards progressive decentralization. This blockchain network, initially designed to cater to the growing demands of the digital world, has evolved into a decentralized powerhouse by empowering its users to take charge of its core processes. As we explore the growth of Flow, we will delve into the details of its thriving ecosystem, examining the number of nodes and validators operating on the network, as well as the amount of staked FLOW and the user base driving this transformation. Comparing these metrics with other leading blockchain networks will provide a clearer picture of Flow's progress, and reveal the critical factors that have contributed to its success in achieving decentralization.
Methodology:
For my dashboard I am going to focus my analysis on two tables flow.core.ez_staking_actions and flow.core.dim_validator_labels. I am going to use the first table in order to see the volumes and counts of staking acitons on Flow. I am going to use the labels table in order to dive into types of nodes as well as specific nodes in order to see what nodes are popular and if it is related to there validator type or not. Overall I am going to use these tables to highlight the current status as well as growth overtime for staking on Flow.

What is Flow?
The Flow playground, launched in 2020, allows developers to create and trade a particular type of digital asset called a non-fungible token (NFT). An NFT is like other crypto assets in how it can be bought, sold and exchanged over the internet without a middleman.
What is Staking on Flow?
Flow is a global network of computers working together to maintain the security and integrity of its users' data. This global network is made up of many individual nodes: software applications run by people. Every node in the network shares a small part of the responsibility to keep the network running smoothly and to ensure that other nodes are doing the same. This shared responsibility is a core premise of decentralization, because no single central node is solely responsible for the security and integrity of the network and the data it contains.
