What is zkSync?

ZkSync is a Layer 2 scaling solution on Ethereum that offers low gas and fast transactions, without compromising on security. People can withdraw assets to Layer 1 at any time. Argent has chosen zkSync for the launch of its Layer 2 wallet.

1. Daily Distinct ETH Depositors into zkSync (Past 60 days)

Analysis:

If we look at the first graph we can see that the amount of distinct daily depositors was increasing from April of 2022 till around mid May of 2022. After that it began to fluctuate all over the place for the remainder of the time being anywhere from about 900 daily distinct depositors to nearly 3000 daily distinct depositors. Overall the total distinct ETH depositors is about 70k. If we move onto the next graph we can see the daily amount of ETH that is being deposited by these depositors. On most day it tends to be between 350-500 ETH that is deposited daily although it has seen to be much higher. On May 10th 2022 2290 ETH was deposited. A total of 32k of ETH has been deposited on zkSync over time.

Conclusion:

1. The total daily distinct depositors tends to be anywhere from 900-3000 on any given day with large fluctuations constantly.

2. the amount of daily ETH deposited on zkSync tends to be less than 500 hovering anywhere from 350-500 on a day to day basis.
