User Behavior
What are users swapping for? What activities are the most common for users on Flow right now? Create a visualization on what’s causing spikes in swapping behavior.
Flow is a blockchain designed to function with high scalability without using sharding techniques. With this, users on the blockchain can carry out cheap and fast transactions. The blockchain was designed explicitly for dApps that need a very high scaling like NFT platforms. Crypto play to earn games have also tapped into the usage of the blockchain, providing its users with a swift gaming experience. Dapper Labs created the blockchain after a few issues surrounding congestion on its previous blockchain, Ethereum. The blockchain now hosts an array of crypto games, including the NBA Top Shot, a game that its parent company developed. Developers who intend to create dApps can also tap the blockchain due to its high scalability and swift performance

If we look at the first graph we can see that as time has gone on the number of swaps by users has gone down for the most part. At the beggining of the graph there was anywhere from 1500-4500 swaps daily but as we get closer to the current date there is anywhere from 250-1000 daily. If we look at the graph we can see that on a daily basis the three most popular tokens to swap for are Flow Token, TeleportedTetherToken, and FUSD. This is also reflected in the next metric as these three tokens clearly have the largest amount of overall swaps for them. TeleportedTetherToken the largest of the three has been swapped for nearly 22k times on Flow.
If we look at the first graph we can see that daily transaction by users on Flow are all over place with some days below 1M in daily transactions and others above 7M. There are a handful of different events that Flow users take when making transactions on Flow but the three most popular are TokenDeposited, TokensWithdrawn, and FeesDeducted. If we move onto the final metric we can see that these three events alone make up over 65% of all events taken by Flow users. If we look one May 19th through May 22nd when there was a spike in total swaps there was also a spike in the events TokensDeposited and TokensWithdrawn which is likely correlated.

There is a correlation to spike in TokensDeposited and TokensWithdrawn and the amount of swaps on those days.
