Ultimate On-Chain Exchange Dashboard
Defi is one of the most dynamic innovations in crypto. As a sector, it is still evolving, but it has the potential to bring important improvements to traditional finance -- that can enable greater access to capital and new opportunities for wealth creation. \n \n The Algorand blockchain enables DeFi applications to operate at tremendous scale, with low transaction costs, and with a negligible carbon footprint.
Decentralized exchanges further build on the promise of decentralized finance, users are able to provide liquidity to facilitate the exchange of their favorite ASAs and stablecoins. Most importantly, users can transact their assets without any intermediary facilitating the exchange.
In the process of liquid governance, DeFi applications provide governance services on behalf of its end-users. Through this, users can commit their Algos to DApps, allowing them to participate in governance through their offerings. With the many types of services offered, the primary purpose is to enable users to obtain governance yields on top of any potential DeFi yields.
Flipside launched a new Algorand database and now it’s time to dive into the new DEFI tables. The challenge here is to build the Ultimate On-chain Exchange Dashboard that will keep Algorand ecosystem users informed about the exchanges in the algorand ecosystem and allow them to compare their options.

In the above charts you can see the total and monthly count of swaps and swappers and also USD volume of swaps.
As you see above, Tinyman was the most used DEX based on count of swaps, swappers and also USD volume of swaps. Algofi, Pactfi and Humbleswap were in the next ranks, respectively.
Monthly count of swaps on Algorand network and Tinyman DEX, increased in the first two months of the year and then decreased sharply until August. After that, although count of swappers increased abit, but count of swaps still had a negative trend.
June, May and April were the months with the highest USD volume of swaps(more than 78% belongs to Tinyman).
Algofi, was the DEX in the second rank based on all the three parameters(swaps and swappers count, USD volume of swaps). All of these 3 parameters had a total positive trend until June, but by the begining of June, all of them got a negative trend and decreased sharply.
Pactfi, was the DEX in the third rank based on all the three parameters. All of these 3 parameters had a total positive trend until June(except count of swappers that reached to its highest level in June and then decreased sharply), but by the beginning of June, count and volume of swaps got a negative trend and decreased sharply.
Humbleswap is a DEX that activated from April. Although the highest count of swaps and swappers on it was on July, but the highest volume of swaps was in th recent month(November).
In the above chart, you can also see the count of swaps on each DEX based on the USD size of the swap transaction. The highest count of swaps on Tinyman, Algofi and Pactfi, had the size less than 5$ and the size between 10 to 50$. The most count of swaps with big sizes(more than 1 K USD size) was in thse DEXs too.

In the above charts, you can see the Algo balance of swappers in Algorand network.
As you see, more than 90% of total swappers on Algorand have a balance less than 100 Algo. Only 5% of them have the balance between 100 to 1K Algo. About 3% of swappers have the balance between 1K to 10K Algo.
You can also see the Algo balance of swappers in each DEX. In all the DEXs, count of swappers which hold less than 100 Algo, had the highest share. 100 to 1K Algo balance was in the second rank in all the DEXs.
If we check the balance of swappers and the assets that they hold, we can see that the top 10 assets that they hold with highest volume are Alvacoin, Joy, USDC and Aegir respectively.
