Method

In this dashboard I will analyze:

• Number of Wallets, Number of Transactions, and Amount of ETH Transferred Daily from L1 to L2 Through Optimism Bridge and Hop Bridge in the past 60 days
• Number of Wallets, Number of Transactions, and Amount of ETH Transferred from L1 to L2 Through Optimism Bridge and Hop Bridge in the past 60 days
• Number of Wallets, Number of Transactions, and Amount of ETH Transferred Daily from L2 to L1 Through Optimism Bridge and Hop Bridge in the past 60 days
• Number of Wallets, Number of Transactions, and Amount of ETH Transferred from L2 to L1 Through Optimism Bridge and Hop Bridge in the past 60 days

The following graphs show the information about ETH transferred from L1 to L2 Through Optimism Bridge and Hop Bridge (respectively) in the past 60 days

June 1st, 2022 was the busiest date for the Optimism Bridge, on that day 23.39k different wallets in 25922 Transactions transferred more than 14659 ETH from Ethereum (L1) to Optimism (L2)

Same as Optimism Bridge, 1st, 2022 was the busiest date for the Hop Bridge, on that day 1472 different wallets in 1564 Transactions transferred more than 2493 ETH from Ethereum (L1) to Optimism (L2)

In the past 60 days, In total 71'926 different wallets in 83982 Transactions transferred more than 74'920 ETH from Ethereum (L1) to Optimism (L2) using Optimism Bridge.

In the past 60 days, In total 8'536 different wallets in 10'102 Transactions transferred more than 19'230 ETH from Ethereum (L1) to Optimism (L2) using Hop Bridge.

L2 to L1

The following graph shows the information about ETH transferred from L2 to L1 Through Optimism Bridge and Hop Bridge (respectively) in the past 60 days

June 8th, 2022 was the busiest date for the Optimism Bridge, on that day 46 different wallets in 51 Transactions transferred more than 6518 ETH from Optimism (L2) to Ethereum (L1)

But for the Hop Bridge, June 1st, 2022 was the busiest date. On that day 3733 different wallets in 3886 Transactions transferred more than 2371 ETH from Optimism (L2) to Ethereum (L1).

***NOTE: For the bridges from Optimism to Ethereum through Hop Bridge, I couldn't find the specific condition for transactions and The above graph contains all the L2 to L1 bridges (Optimism + Arbitrum) ***

In the past 60 days, In total 482 different wallets in 576 Transactions transferred more than 27455 ETH from Optimism (L2) to Ethereum (L1) using Optimism Bridge.

In the past 60 days, In total 28'248 different wallets in 37'778 Transactions transferred more than 55'734 ETH from Optimism (L2) to Ethereum (L1) using Hop Bridge.

Conclusion

• Most users used the Optimism bridge to transfer ETH from L1 to L2
• Most users used the Hop bridge to transfer ETH from L2 to L1
• Overall highest amount of ETH bridged through Optimism Bridge
• The number of wallets that used the Optimism bridge to transfer ETH from L1 to L2 is almost 150 times greater than the number of wallets that used it to transfer ETH from L2 to L1 but at the same time, the amount of ETH transferred is only 2.7 times greater
