Try Quests to earn cryptoHODL or Sell (that is the question)
In a time period of your choice, identify accounts that have staked ETH with Lido when the price of ETH was much higher or much lower than it is now. Have they held or sold their stETH?
In this dashboard, I analyzed the number of people that HODLtheir stETH. Price of ETH at the time of analyzing was around 3500$ so for the ETH prices higherthan the current price considered prices more than 4000 and for the ETH prices lower than the current price I considered prices less than 3000. Also for the period of time, I considered all the data that were available since the beginning ofLIDO.
In the following graph you can see dates that ETH had higher prices than 4000$ (Blue) and lower prices than 3000$ (Orange)
The following graphs are related to the users that staked their ETH when ETH had higher prices than 4000$. You can see the number of wallets that staked ETH (and received stETH) and the daily amount of staked ETH respectively.
As you can see there is no similarity between the behaviors of these two graphs. On November 7th 2021, 194 wallets staked ETH (The highest number of wallets), and on December 7th 2021, around 14.9k ETH staked on LIDO (the highest amount of daily stake).
In the following table, you can see the list of all the wallets staked ETH and their stake time.
The following graphs are related to the users that staked their ETH when ETH had lower prices than 3000$. You can see the number of wallets that staked ETH (and received stETH) and the daily amount of staked ETH respectively.
On February 11th 2022, 194 wallets staked ETH (The highest number of wallets), and on March 15th 2022 around 197.14k ETH staked on LIDO (the highest amount of daily stake).
In the following table, you can see the list of all the wallets staked ETH and their stake time.
In the following tables, you can see the list of holders (high and low ETH prices respectively) and the amount of stETH they had on April 2nd 2022.
Overall around 8.15k wallets staked ETH when the price of ETH was higher than 4000$ and a round 8.13k of them still have their stETH which means 99.7% of them are Holders. On the other hand, we had the same behavior. Around 23.11k wallets staked ETH when the price of ETH was lower than 3000$ and Around 22.66k of them still have their stETH which means 98% of them are Holders.
