Network Performance Dashboard
Bounty Question:
Q95. Create a dashboard displaying Solana network performance over time.
How has the network performed over the past month compared to the rest of the year? Has transaction per second and success rates of transactions gone up recently? Is this because of less botting or fewer users, or new improvements from the Solana engineers? What wallets and programs have paid the most in fees for failed transactions?
Methodology:
to answer the bounty question we follow the below steps:
- Daily Average TPS on Solana Since 1 January 2022
- Monthly Average TPS on Solana Since beginning of 2022
we find the above metrics and compare the past month with the rest of year to know if it chaneged or no
- find the Monthly Average Success Rate of Solana Transactions Since beginning of January 2022
and to know if number of users had an impact in the above metrics we see at the Number of unique users Since January 2022
and at the end find the wallets and programs that spent most at failed transactions
Important Notes:
- we used from [ solana.core ] schema and [ fact_blocks ], [ fact_transactions] tables
The below chart shows the daily average TPS on Solana and we can see that the TPS increased from 16 June 2022 compared to rest of the year
The below chart shows the monthly average TPS on Solana and we can see that the TPS in June month was high compared to the rest of the year
The below chart shows the Monthly average success rate of solana transactions and success rate of solana transaction in June month Compared to April and May months was high but compared to the 3 first months of year had lower success rate
The below chart shows the Monthly Number of unique users on Solana Since January 2022 and we can get from the below chart that success rate of Solana transactions had an negative correlation with the number of unique users on SOLANA due to in January we had less success rate compared to other months and in January we had a lot of users and this works in other months too in every months that we had more unique users we had a bit lower success rate compared to other months and in months that we had a bit less unique users we had more success rate on Solana Transactions.
Conclusion:
we find that TPS on Solana has grown in the June Month Compared to rest of the year and also we got that we had more success rate on Solana transactions in June month Compared to the April and May Months and then we find the Monthly Number of Unique users on Solana and we got that Success rate of Solana Transactions had a negative correlation with Number of unique users, it means every time that the number of unique users on Solana increased the Success rate of Solana Transaction decreased and vise versa
