Overview

In this dashboard we wanna see some data about StarkNet blocks accepted in Ethereum network and also see how much ETH paid to Ethereum network as fee

Goals

• Total block confirmation transactions and total fee paid
• Daily block confirmation transactions and total fee paid
• Find out has StarkNet contributed to saving in transaction fees for its users?

Need to know

• StarkNet operator: 0x2C169DFe5fBbA12957Bdd0Ba47d9CEDbFE260CA7
• StarkNet core contract: 0xc662c410C0ECf747543f5bA90660f6ABeBD9C8c4
• For identify block confirm transactions should look for transaction emanating from the StarkNet operator to StarkNet core contract

Analyze

I used ethereum.core.fact_transactions table and filtered from,to address columns to get all block confirm transactions and also total fee

• In below you can see around 2900 blocks have been accepted on Ethereum and also around 50 ETH paid as fee

• In below you can see daily block confirm transactions and also daily fee

Conclusion

• Around 2900 blocks have been accepted on Ethereum
• Around 50 ETH paid as fee
• Some days around May 9 there was spike in transactions number and transactions fee that is because launch of StarGate bridge between Ethereum and StarkWare
• For last part of Q tables still don't cover tx fee and i could not compare by using tables so i compared a simple ETH transfer in both Ethereum and StarkWare networks and you can see tx fee in StarkWare was around 0.0006 ETH but tx fee in Ethereum was around 0.0014 and 2.5 X more so i can confirm StarkWare paid fee to saving in transaction fees for its users
