Introduction

Here in this dashboard, We'll take a close look into most popular crypto wallet, Metamask and try answer below questions:

How many total Metamask wallet holders are there? What’s the average value of ETH held in wallets? What percentage of wallets are engaging in a higher order activity, like staking?

Method

Since We can't calculate the total number of Metamask users we just assume Metamask wallets as wallets who have used the Metamask swap feature who got interacted with this contract address 0x881D40237659C251811CEC9c364ef91dC08D300C

Also to get the Ethereum balance of these users and stake amount of them in RocketPool platform, I used ethereum_core.fact_event_logs and ethereum.erc20_balances tables of Flipsidecrypto.

1.6M addresses got interacted with Metamask swap feature contract address 0x881D40237659C251811CEC9c364ef91dC08D300C So We'll take this number as Metamask users and see their balance with Ethereum amount that they have been staked on Rocket Pool to see how many are engaging in a higher order activity like staking.

Total USD balance of Ethereum that rightnow is holding in all Metamask users worth 1.1B dollars. Certainly there are wallets with huge amount of Ethereum in them by average value of ETH that's hodling in total wallets which are 1.6M is something around 0.9 ETH.

Quite good amount of Ethereum staked by Metamask users over the last 8 months. By looking in the below graph we can say there were good amount of accumulation happened in March 2022.

1- Total number of Metamask users who used RocketPool and staked Ethereum on it is 1,388.

2- Total amount of Ethereum that deposited and staked on RocketPool is 20,550 ETH.

3- Average amount of Ethereum that has been staked on RocketPool is 14.8 ETH.
