Avalanche: Monitor the Active Users in AVAX
This dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of the user profile on the Avalanche blockchain. With various parameters, it allows users to examine according to the criteria they want.

About Avalanche
You can review all the detailed information about Avalanche on Avalanche Docs. To briefly explain some of the basic terms before we start reviewing the dashboard:
-
Avalanche: a decentralized blockchain that aims to provide fast, secure, and scalable solutions for decentralized applications (dApps) and financial transactions. It was developed by Ava Labs and was launched in 2020.
-
Avalanche Contracts: smart contracts that can be developed and deployed on the Avalanche blockchain.
-
dApps: decentralized applications that are built on the Avalanche blockchain, can be anything from gaming platforms to decentralized exchanges and payment systems.
-
Active Wallet: refers to a wallet that has been used to perform a transaction on the Avalanche network within a specified period of time.
In this section, I will give a simple and brief explanation of how to use the parameters in the dashboard.
-
First of all, I should mention that all graphs and metrics give results for the time interval you write to the
analyze_date_from
andanalyze_date_until
parameters. You can set it as you want. Also, you can inspect differently by replacing thetimestamp
parameter with the'week'
,'month'
,'year'
parameters instead of 'day'. -
Each tab has sections where new users are measured. Users before the date you entered in the
analyze_date_from
section are referred to as 'Previous users' in these reviews. Every user who makes a transaction after this date is considered a 'New user'. -
In the Active Users Across the Chain tab, you can measure the user's activity in Avalanche. All you have to do is change the
user_address
parameter. -
In the Active Users by Contracts tab, you can observe the evolution of Avalanche contracts. In addition, you can make a specific analysis of an Avalanche contract by finding its name from the tables and typing it into the
Contract
parameter. -
On the Active Users by dApps tab, you can learn about the dApp ecosystem in Avalanche. You can also make a custom review by examining the dApp table and entering the desired
dApp
name.
