Methodology

First we will plot MKR committed over time for each of the 3 votes.

Then we will see the impact of redelegation on the outcome of the polls.

For Poll ID 819 as well as Poll ID 822, there was a very close fight between yes and no.

In the final hour of voting, no got the most votes.

Overall for Poll ID 819, No finished with ~176K votes and Yes finished with ~112K votes.

For Poll ID 822, No finished with ~135K votes and Yes finished with ~67K votes.

We can see that delegator '0xc0583df0d10c2e87ae1873b728a0bda04d8b660c' has removed his delegation of 5000 MKR from '0xafaff1a605c373b43727136c995d21a7fcd08989' and 3000 MKR each from '0xb0b829a6aae0f7e59b43391b2c8a1cfd0c801c8c', '0x45127ec92b58c3a89e89f63553073adcaf2f1f5f' and '0x4d3ac33ab1dd7b0f352b8e590fe8b62c4c39ead5' during the last hour of voting.

These addresses have decreased Yes votes by 11,000 and Abstain by 3000 in Poll IDs 819 and 822.

The same delegator has also delegated 4000, 3000, 4000 and 7000 MKR tokens to '0xcdb792c14391f7115ba77a7cd27f724fc9ea2091', '0x2c511d932c5a6fe4071262d49bfc018cfbaaa1f5', '0x84b05b0a30b6ae620f393d1037f217e607ad1b96' and '0x8804d391472126da56b9a560aef6c6d5aaa7607b respectively.

All these addresses have voted for No for both poll IDS 819 and 822 increasing the No votes by 18000.

The winning margin for No in both the polls was ~60K and about 50% difference (29K votes) has been made by these redelegation activity alone.

Summary

• In Poll ID 819, No finished with ~176K votes and Yes finished with ~112K votes.

• In Poll ID 822, No finished with ~135K votes and Yes finished with ~67K votes.

• A difference of 29K votes happened in the last hour of voting by redelegation of MKR tokens by '0xc0583df0d10c2e87ae1873b728a0bda04d8b660c'.
