These new accounts have generated 97.8 million transactions, indicating high levels of engagement and activity.

Weekly Trends:

• The number of weekly new users joining the NEAR chain shows a fluctuating yet overall increasing trend, suggesting a growing interest in the platform.
• Weekly transactions by new users are also increasing, with some weeks showing sharp spikes which may indicate specific events or promotions that drove higher activity.

Protocol and Contract Type Preferences:

• The majority of new users are engaged with games, followed by other activities, token operations, and DeFi, as indicated by the distribution of weekly new users by protocol type.
• Distribution by contract type shows a predominance of token-related activities, followed by DeFi and games.

Transaction Pattern:

• Cumulative transactions by new users show a steady increase over time, suggesting consistent and sustained use after joining.

Volume and Price Correlation:

There appears to be a correlation between new users and NEAR volume, with spikes in new users often coinciding with increased volume. The NEAR price does not seem to follow the same pattern as new user sign-ups or volume, which could indicate that the price is influenced by other factors outside of new user activity.

Joining of new users to a blockchain network can be a very good sign of the growth and progress of that blockchain network. In this dashboard, I will examine the blockchain network from this perspective.
