AAVE and stAAVE movements

This dashboard here attempts to see the activities and the performance of the AAVE protocol in terms of the transactions and staking and tries to analyze a trend by charting them for the chosen period.

    INTRODUCTION

As part of its efforts to enhance the capabilities of its lending platform, Aave has suggested the introduction of the decentralized algorithmic stablecoin GHO. The fully collateralized stablecoin will first be made accessible on the Ethereum network and will be a native part of the Aave ecosystem. On the basis of upcoming community votes, it is anticipated to be available on additional Aave-supported blockchains. In essence, staking entails putting AAVE coins into the protocol Safety Module. Staking is intended to serve as a technique for shortfall event mitigation. Stakeholders in the Safety Module will be given AAVE as safety incentives as a reward for defending the procedure (SI).

The stakers will each receive 400 AAVE/day as the initial SI awards. Stakeholders could be eligible to earn a portion of protocol fees, but that will only happen if the government approves it. Safety Incentives are given to workers in the Safety Module. 400 AAVE/day is the original SI reward rate. Before the completion of the three-month (90-day) distribution plan, votes should be cast on the quarterly allocation date for the Safety Incentive. The existing allocation will continue until a vote or until the Ecosystem Reserve is depleted in the event that a vote on a new SI allocation plan is delayed or not held.

    METHODOLOGY

The main motive of the queries here is to track the transactions both the deposit/withdrawals and also the stake and unstake over time. Thus initially the volume and transactions of the movement ie the deposit and withdrawal in the AAVE protocol are tracked and then charted for the day. Similarly, the amount that is staked and unstaked is also charted with the users, and the transactions made to both stake and unstake as well as these are charted with a period to see the performance of the protocol over time.

The chart to the left shows the transactions that are made to move the tokens in and out of the AAVE protocol. It is seen that the deposit transactions are more than the withdrawals and the right chart indicates the total volume that is moved in and out of the protocol over the whole period of time and this too follow the same trend as transactions.

The chart to the right shows the transactions over time with the supply and withdrawal indicated in colors. This is charted with time to understand the trend and it is seen that transactions have been decreasing over time.

The volume of the withdrawal and deposit transactions over time is charted here and it is seen that the trend has been decreasing but then with a sudden increase on May 6. This is charted in USD and so the fluctuations in the price of the USD can also influence here.

The movement in the transactions of the deposits and withdrawals with the users is charted here and it also indicates that the trend is decreasing over time as the count of transactions.

The chart here indicates the volume and the transactions made for both stake and unstake transactions over time. It is seen that the staking volume is higher than the unstaked volume.

The chart here shows the volume of the stake and unstake volume over time and the highest stake volume is 3522 in USD

The charted amount here indicates the Staked and Unstaked volume over time separately and it is seen that the staked volume has a slight increase on some days and the overall trend is decreasing in the case of unstaking event.

The chart here indicates the staked transaction count and the unstaked transaction count over time and the staked transactions have a constant trend over time and the unstake transaction count has been decreasing since beginning.

The stakers over time is charted for time with the unstake transactors over time. This follows the same trend with the above plots.
