Many bounties come from Terra clients. This time, Flipside is the client! Review the existing Terra Console for accuracy. - Accuracy: Are there any data errors you can identify?
Introduction
The aim of this article is to talk about some of the shortcomings of Flipside. This article also provides suggestions on some of these shortcomings. What is stated in this article is the result of various hunts and bounties performed by author. Furthermore, several dashboards uploaded by others are also included.
1: Firstly, one of the relatively large disadvantages of Flipside is the time delay in updating the data. This temporal delay is sometimes three hours and sometimes more than a few days. For example, recently, the Terra tables did not update its information for more than two days, and the tables were empty for days.
Secondly: I do not know if this is the right place to mention this or not, but I prefer to talk about it here. In one of the hunts (FLOW Scavenger hunt), users had to use the flow network to perform the transaction, but the flow data was not in the flipside tables. (Note that Flipside only covers Flow transactions on the Ethereum network.)
Thirdly, In some tables, some values, especially the price and the number of tokens, are not calculated correctly. For example, I remember for one of the bounties that the price of a currency had to be determined, for some transactions it had to be divided by 1000,000,000 and sometimes by 1,000,000, which caused a jump in the chart.
Fourth, it often happens that all the data of a day disappears, and when a chart is drawn, some data is not recorded on some days.
