Definition

• Activity: The number and type of actions performed by users or projects on the blockchain network.
• NEAR Blockchain: A decentralized platform that allows developers to create applications that run on a secure, scalable and open network.
• Projects: The applications or initiatives that use the NEAR Blockchain for their functionality or purpose.
• NEAR Horizon: A data analytics tool that provides insights into the activity and performance of the NEAR Blockchain and its projects.

Method

The analysis focuses on active projects on NEAR and Horizon platforms,comparing their transaction volume and growth across different months/year. The rank is used to identify top-performing projects in each week, I have defined active projects as those that have a high number of transactions within a given time period. The active projects are selected based on their rank being less than 10. and the UNION ALL operation combines the results for 2021, 2022, and 2023 for active projects on NEAR and The months under review are January to June 2023 for horizon activity .
