Insights & Conclusion:

• Almost half (50%) of transactions and the fees spent in Algorand belong to the four protocols: AlgoDEX, AlgoFi, Tinyman & Folks Finance.
• AlgoFi protocol contributes to the highest transactional volume and fees spent in Algorand with 25.9% in transactions and 27.8% in fees.
• AlgoDEX transactions and fees has been on a downward trend since Feb 2022.
• AlgoDEX protocol contributes only 0.25% in total transactions and 0.233% in total fees spent.
• AlgoFi transactions and fees spent are on the rise in 2022.
• Tinyman protocol has the second highest contributions in terms of fees spent and transactions produced with 21.4% and 22.9% respectively.
• Tinyman protocol has seen a slight dec;ine through 2022. On Jan 1st, 2022 Tinyman protocol underwent an attack in which it was compromised by the attacker and $3Million worth of liquidity in goBTC and goETH was withdrawn which is evident in the charts. Read more about the tinyman exploit here:
• Folks Finance protocol contributes very little towards the transactions and fees spent on Algorand with 0.116% and 0.17% respectively.
• We also see a correlation between the Algo price and tinyman hack date. Algo price dropped almost 50% in just a month after the exploit in Jan 2022.
